Welcome to Act Studios
Act Studios started in 1995 and now has over 1000 children who benefit from the dynamic, fun training provided. The studio offers Communication Training through drama to eleven schools in Pretoria and has a team of twenty qualified, enthusiastic and dynamic teachers. They who have been trained in the ACT STUDIOS teaching style, covering the ACT STUDIOS syllabus.

CONFIDENCE BUILDING
While having loads of fun the children do not even realise they are developing many skills that develop their confidence and make them dynamic communicators, some of the skills that are developed through the games and exercises we practice in drama are:
CORRECT PRONUNCIATION
Training in correct English pronunciation through auditory, phonic and speech exercises.
CONFIDENT COMMUNICATION
Training in voice production, voice, warmth, timbre, and expression for effective communication.
FREE MOVEMENT
Creative movement, movement to music, mime, improvisation and verbal dynamics.
CREATIVE DRAMA
Improvisation & characterisation, puppetry, play production and stage make-up.
LEARNING LITERATURE
Poetry, prose and drama appreciation, through creative writing and performance.
CONFIDENT PERFORMANCES
Of skills learnt for an audience.
